How many nights was your apartment really rented out?

StayLog is an independent source of truth about how often your rental apartment is actually occupied.
See the real occupancy, not just what you are told.

The problem

Sound familiar?

You bought a seaside apartment as an investment. You live in another city or country. A management company or a manager you know rents it out.

📉

“Only 11 nights were rented this month”

Your manager sends a report. You have no way to check it: you are far away, while the keys, the guests and the money are all with them. You have to take their word for it.

🕵️

The apartment is rented “off the books”

A dishonest manager rents out your apartment and keeps the money. In the report those nights show up as “vacant”. It is a widespread practice on the market.

✈️

The only way to check is to fly in

The only way to learn the truth is to fly in and keep watch at the door. Real owners actually do this. It is expensive, slow and humiliating.

A management company on a 20% commission earns less than it would from undeclared rentals. So your manager is always tempted — and until now you had no way to check.
The solution

How it works

When people stay in an apartment, it leaves a digital trail of activity. StayLog collects this trail as anonymised metadata and turns it into honest occupancy statistics.

1 · We install the StayLog device

A compact module is mounted in the apartment's electrical panel in 1 hour. Nothing is visible from the outside and the interior is untouched.

2 · Metadata goes to the cloud

The device sends anonymised activity metadata to the StayLog server around the clock — numbers, not images or sound.

3 · AI analyses the patterns

An AI model tells from the activity patterns whether guests stayed, a cleaner dropped by or the apartment stood empty.

4 · You see the truth

Your dashboard shows an occupancy calendar and statistics. Compare them with your manager's report in a minute.

🔒 Private by default. No cameras, microphones or sensors in the living rooms. We only collect anonymised sensor metadata — enough to know whether anyone stayed, without invading guests' privacy.

Technology

The StayLog device

C16 C10 C16 StayLog online 2 DIN B25 C16 Apartment electrical panel · StayLog module on a DIN rail

A neat module for a standard DIN rail, just 2 modules wide — it looks like an ordinary circuit breaker. It goes into the apartment's electrical panel: guests never know it is there and the interior stays the same.

📦
Collects activity metadata

Only anonymised numeric indicators of activity in the apartment. No images, no sound and no personal data about guests.

🤖
Server-side AI analysis

The model is trained to tell a stay from cleaning or vacancy by characteristic activity patterns. Every verdict comes with a confidence level, and any disputed day can be examined hour by hour.

🛰
Tamper detection

If the device stops reporting, you are the first to know. A lost signal is a reason to talk to your manager in itself.

🔌
A growing platform

The sensor range keeps growing: future device generations will collect more kinds of metadata for an even more accurate picture — still without cameras or microphones.

What you get

Why it matters

⚖️

Leverage in talks with your manager

“My data shows the apartment was occupied on 14–18 March, but those nights are not in your report. Shall we discuss?” One such conversation usually pays for years of subscription.

🔔

Real-time alerts

A guest checking in, suspicious activity, a device going offline — you get an email or Telegram notification right away, not at the end of the month.

🤝

Honest managers benefit too

Transparency is a competitive advantage. A management company that offers owners independent monitoring itself wins more apartments to manage.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is it legal?

Yes. You install a telemetry device in your own apartment. There is no video surveillance or eavesdropping — only anonymised activity metadata, with no images, sound or personal data about guests.

How accurately does it detect occupancy?

The AI model analyses hourly activity patterns and tells guest stays apart from cleaning or an empty apartment. It is a highly reliable indicator: in typical apartments the accuracy is close to perfect. Every verdict comes with a confidence level, and disputed days can be examined hour by hour.

What if the manager unplugs the device?

You will immediately get a “device offline” alert. Missing data is a signal too: an honest manager has nothing to hide, and the unplugging itself is something to talk about.

Does anything need to change in the apartment?

No. The compact module goes into the electrical panel in about an hour, like an ordinary circuit breaker. The interior and appliances are untouched. Guests notice nothing.

I am not in Georgia. How do we set it up?

Fully remotely: you give us the contact of your manager or a neighbour for access to the apartment, our technician installs the device, and you get dashboard access the same day. Pay by card, bank transfer or cryptocurrency.
